College Faculty Member Accused Of Threatening Employees

Hocking College said an employee has been banned from campus after making targeted threats against three other employees.

The college said they learned about the threats late yesterday afternoon. Emails went out to all students, staff and faculty around 4:20 p.m. Thursday.

Laura Alloway, the Director of Marketing & Public Relations for Hocking College said the threat was not made against the college or student body in general.  She said it was a targeted threat.

Alloway said the employee has not been fired and the investigation is ongoing.

Police contacted the prosecutor's office to see if charges are warranted. As of Thursday night, the employee was not charged and his name was not released.
