Receiver Marvin Jones walked through the Bengals' locker room on Monday still wearing that protective white boot on his left foot.
He's one of the few casualties of a favorable training camp.
Jones broke a bone in his foot but will miss only the first few weeks of the season. The defending AFC North champions are ready to start on Sunday in Baltimore at close to full strength.
The Bengals are trying to reach the playoffs for the fourth straight season, something they've never done. They're also aiming to end the sixth-longest playoff drought in NFL history: no postseason wins since 1990. They're 0-5 in the playoffs under coach Marvin Lewis.
