Chillicothe Man Accused Of Posing As A Police Officer, Trying To Steal Drugs

A Chillicothe man is facing felony charges for allegedly posing as a police officer and trying to conduct a drug raid.

Thomas Lewis is charged with impersonating an officer and burglary, according to The Chillicothe Gazette.

Police said that on Sept. 4, Lewis went to a home on Mill Street and told a resident that he was an officer and was conducting a drug raid.

The victim told police Lewis took his money when he found out there were no drugs in the residence.

The newspaper reported that a similar incident was reported on Pleasant Valley Road the next day, but Lewis has not been charged in that incident.
