Changes Likely For Speech Policy At Columbus State
Changes are likely on the way to the public speech policy at Columbus State Community College.
At a board meeting Thursday, trustees elected to move ahead on a vote to create new rules.
The push comes after the college was sued two weeks ago over its current practice.
Right now, the university requires all protests to occur inside small free speech zones and it requires notice of a protest.
The new policy would allow students to use any public outdoor area for activities without prior notice.
