A weak cold front will slowly move into central Ohio tonight through early Wednesday increasing the threat for showers and thunderstorms. However the showers will remain widely scattered with not everyone seeing rain. As the front moves into southern Ohio Wednesday, a weak disturbance will track along the front which may provide a better chance for showers early in the day. Temperatures will hold in the middle 60s tonight with slightly cooler air filtering into the state Wednesday and Thursday as highs top out near 80 degrees.
As the front stalls just south of the Ohio River, several waves of low pressure will track along the front late Thursday into the weekend. Depending on how far south the front can move, some of the rain may make it back into central and southern Ohio from time to time Thursday night through Sunday. Outside of any rain, skies will be partly cloudy. High temperatures will range from around 80 to 85 degrees for the second half of the week and into the weekend.
