Another clear and cold day ahead, but much of central Ohio is under a rare winter Air Quality Alert for trapped particle pollution. Part of that is due to a temperature inversion and the fact that we have plenty of sun and very little wind to mix up the air. High pressure will move to the east and temperatures will slowly warm over the next couple of days. An upper level system will bring a chance for snow showers, and possibly some freezing drizzle, by Thursday night into Friday.
ALERTS : SPC has No Risk Areas in U.S. today. Air Quality Alert in Central Ohio.
Inconvenient WX/Plan Your Day: Very cold morning. Air quality issues (through tomorrow) and somewhat better temps the next couple of days. Thursday night may bring some brief freezing drizzle and there’s a little snow in the forecast for Friday. This will likely impact travel. The weekend looks quiet, overall.
