Central Ohio Crime Stoppers Offers Reward For Info About Big Lots Thief

Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information about a man who stole cash from at least 27 Big Lots employees in February.

On Feb. 25 at about 5:30 p.m., a 5-foot-9-inch bald, black male in his late 40s entered the Big Lots corporate location at 300 Phillipi Road through a secured door as an employee exited.

The man was wearing work clothes and carrying a roll of building plans, according to Crime Stoppers.

According to Crime Stoppers, the man would unroll the building plans while walking to appear authorized. He stole cash from at least 27 employees off their desk and was seen leaving the scene from a red SUV.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for any information leading to arrest of indictment of the persons responsible for the crime.
