Capital Area Humane Society, Franklin County Dog Shelter Host Adoption Events Labor Day Weekend

The Capital Area Humane Society is hosting a “Midnight Madness” Adopt-A-Thon for Labor Day.

The Hilliard shelter will have extended hours from 2 p.m. to midnight as well as prizes on Friday night.

Shelter assistants say there will be special prices on adoption, as well as a large prize wheel featuring prizes of t-shirts, discounts and 10 to 100 percent off adoption fees.

The Franklin County Dog Shelter is near capacity and is extending its hours on Labor Day.

The shelter will be open for adoption from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday.
