Bus Tour Pushing New Gun Laws Arrives In Columbus
A national bus tour that is promoting increased gun legislation, including comprehensive background checks, is holding a rally in Columbus on Monday morning.
The group behind the event is called Mayors Against Illegal Guns.
Mayor Michael Coleman and a sister of a Newtown shooting survivor are among the planned speakers at the rally, which was scheduled for 11 a.m.
The rally participants are urging Republican Sen. Rob Portman to change his position on gun laws.
