Bus Driver Pleads Guilty To Drunken Driving, Child Endangerment
A Columbus bus driver accused of drinking and driving while having students on board has admitted to the crime.
Tia Denton was two hours late to drop kids off at Southwood Elementary School on November 25.
Police say when they stopped her, Denton had a blood alcohol level was almost three-times the legal limit.
Denton entered a guilty plea in court on Monday to charges of drunken driving and child endangering.
She resigned from her job as a bus driver last week.
Denton is expected to be sentenced on February 4.
