High pressure will remain in control of the weather in central Ohio tonight and on Friday with quiet weather expected. As the high moves off to the east, winds will turn out of the south and southwest allowing for warmer temperatures to filter into the state. It will not be quite as cold tonight with overnight lows expected to drop into the middle 20’s. The winds will increase and become gusty out of the southwest Friday afternoon. Temperatures will rise into the middle to upper 50’s under partly cloudy skies. Clouds will increase late Friday with a chance for showers as a cold front moves into the area Friday night. As colder air moves in behind the front, a few snowflakes may mix in with the rain before ending early Saturday morning. Skies will clear Saturday with unseasonably cooler temperatures expected through the weekend.
