Break-In Leaves Suspect Empty Handed At Dentist’s Office

A west Columbus dentist says an intruder is in custody after breaking into his office and getting away empty handed.

The break-in occurred on West Broad Street Monday morning.

The suspect shattered the front door to get inside, but Dr. Tod Siefert says anyone breaking into his office will be disappointed.

“Dentists don’t keep drugs in the office, there’s no reason to break in, but I guess they just wanted to check,” Siefert said.

He says people heard the glass shatter and called the police.

Police chased down the suspect nearby.
