Boyfriend Of Woman Found Dead In Charred Home Now Wanted For Murder

The boyfriend of a woman who was found dead on Saturday now is wanted on murder charges.

Police said that John A. Smith was charged with one count of murder in connection with the death of Darlene Hart.

Hart was found unresponsive in a first-floor hallway of her home, located in the 200 block of Parkwood Avenue. Fire officials said there was evidence of a fire.

Police continued to search for Smith, who was last seen the night before Hart was found dead.

Hart's daughter said that her mother and Smith had gotten into a fight at a bar the night before she was found dead.

He is believed to be driving a 2006 white four-door Acura with Ohio license No. ESD-8367.
