A Union County man is getting a reduced bond after prosecutors say he ran over and killed his 4 year old son.

Natividad De Jesus Hernandez was back in the courtroom on Thursday facing new charges.

On December 26, Hernandez says a child fell out of his vehicle and was run over. He now faces charges of aggravated vehicle homicide, involuntary manslaughter and two counts of forgery.

A group called Angel Alliance showed up to support Hernandez who could face deportation.

“We feel that we want to make sure that this case is handled in a just way,” said Ruben Castilla Herrera, Angel Alliance.

The group is named after Hernandez’s son who died. The group raised $9,000 to fly the body home to Honduras.

The judge placed a $100,000 bond on Hernandez.
