A Franklin County Board of Elections employee has quit amid an investigation sparked by a 10 Investigates report.

10TV reported that the employee claimed hours on his time card even though he was not in the office.

BOE members met last week and on Monday to review the internal investigation against the employee, Michael Todd Wedekind.

On Monday, Wedekind resigned.

In an earlier report, 10 Investigates found that the supervisor claimed on his timesheet hours that he was working, even though parking records weren't there. 10TV also followed him from his home on several occasions and found him going to work at different times.
