BCI Investigating After Car Chase With Logan Police
Logan Police had one person in custody after a car chase outside of Logan.
The incident started around 5:30 p.m. Thursday when someone called 911 about a man panhandling outside the Kroger on Chieftain Drive in Logan.
When police arrived, the suspect quickly got into his car and took off.
Police chased him a little over a mile down SR-664. He eventually bailed from the car and took off into a wooded area.
Police chased him down, used a taser on him and were able to take him into custody.
They say there was a 16-year-old girl inside the vehicle. They were working to figure out the relationship between the suspect and the girl.
BCI, Hocking County Sheriff's Deputies and Logan Police were investigating the incident.
