See if this sounds familiar: An Ohio State team runs off a double-digit string of wins against a weak schedule, loses to Michigan State and then drops its next game.
The fate that befell the Buckeyes football team has revisited the men's basketball squad.
After winning 15 straight to climb to No. 3 in the nation, the Buckeyes lost 72-68 in overtime at No. 5 Michigan State on Jan. 7. Then they frittered away a nine-point second half lead in falling at home to No. 20 Iowa 84-74 on Sunday.
Now the 11th-ranked Buckeyes (15-2, 2-2 Big Ten) are trying to answer a lot of questions - and doubts - before traveling to Minnesota (13-4, 2-2) for yet another major test on Thursday.
