Authorities Searching For Masked Gunmen Who Robbed West Columbus CVS

Franklin County Sheriff's Deputies are searching for two masked men who they say robbed a CVS Pharmacy at gunpoint.

Deputies say the robbery occurred around 5:35 a.m. on the corner of West Broad Street and Murray Hill Road in far west Columbus.  Detectives tell 10TV the suspects appeared like they knew what they were doing and it may have not been the first time they hit the location

Upon entering CVS, the thieves first demanded money from the cash register.  They then went to the back to the pharmacy, where detectives say they demanded several prescription drugs.  The frightened employee complied with their request.

Detectives say the men executed the entire robbery over just a period of several minutes.  They then they escaped through the back of the pharmacy.   

No one was hurt, but there is concern from employees because they may have seen the men before. 

The suspects are described as two black males.  One of the suspects is described as 5’05’’ to 5’10’’ tall 175 - 180 lbs. stocky build. Last seen dressed in a dark colored shirt and jeans. The second suspect is described as a male black 6’00’’ to 6’02’’ tall 150 to 160 thin build. Last seen dressed in a dark colored shirt and jeans.
