Authorities Search For 6-Month-Old Baby, Believed To Be Taken By Family Members
Police in Newark are looking for a 6-month-old girl that may be in danger.
Nicayla Jordan is believed to be with family members.
Authorities told 10TV that Licking County Children Services went to take the baby into custody on Wednesday, but her grandmother refused to give the baby to authorities.
The child's mother, Amanda Jordan, 25, was released from jail on Friday.
Police are looking for Jordan, along with her mother Susan Allen, 51, and the baby's aunt Rockell Hudson, 20.
A felony kidnapping warrant has been issued for Amanda Jordan. All of the family members involved also face a charge of interference with custody
Lawmen from four several jurisdictions are searching areas around Newark and Knox County for the baby and the family members.
