Authorities Release Name Of Construction Worker Struck, Killed By Dump Truck On I-270

A construction worker was struck and killed on Tuesday morning on the southwest side.
According to police, a person was struck in a construction zone by a dump truck carrying concrete at Interstate 270 at Georgesville Road around 9 a.m.

The man killed was identified as Gary L. Henry, 57, of Dennison, Ohio.
The Ohio Department of Transportation said that Henry was an employee of Shelly and Sands.

Officials said that Henry was working behind the concrete barrier near the Georgesville exit ramp from I-270 North when the truck backed over him.

The crash remains under investigation.
