Authorities looking for man accused of robbing Wendy's restaurant in Whitehall

Authorities are trying to identify a man accused of robbing a Wendy's restaurant in Whitehall.

According to Central Ohio Crime Stoppers, it happened on Aug. 29 at the Wendy's located at 3747 E. Broad St.

Authorities say the man approached the front counter and ordered food before implying he had a gun and demanding money from the cashier.

After the cashier complied, authorities say the man fled from the restaurant on foot.

Crime Stoppers describes the man as 30-40 years old, 130-145 pounds, nearly bald with scruffy facial hair.

Authorities say an investigation has determined that the suspect is the same man accused of robbing the Walgreen's located at 3583 E. Broad St. on Aug. 14.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for any information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the person responsible for this crime. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS (8477).
