Auditor: Former Coshocton Deputy Sentenced For Theft Still Owes $10,000

A former Coshocton County deputy who was sentenced to six months for theft still owes the department money, according to the Ohio Auditor.

Jim MacDonald served with the office for 16 years. He pleaded guilty to six counts of theft in office.

MacDonald was caught on video tape taking money from several funds.

The new audit reports that MacDonald paid back more than $21,000 that he owed in restitution. But it states that he was sentenced to pay back more than $31,000.
