The dispute over girl’s service dog that caused problems for a highly allergic special needs teacher at an Athens district school has been resolved.

The Columbus Dispatch reports that six-year-old Shyanna Gretz will attend Beacon School for special-needs students.

Gretz has attended this school for the past three years.

The plan is supposed to provide more time for Gretz and her dog to work together before entering the Athens district.

The plan will also provide ample time for school officials to accommodate for Shyanna in either elementary school.
