A Norwich Township man is scheduled to appear in court Thursday to face allegations of hoarding junk and failing to clean up his property.

Franklin County Judge Harland Hale inspected the property himself on Wednesday. He told 10TV the situation has improved since a July inspection but that it still has a long way to go.
Hale gave the homeowner, Steve Lorenz, numerous deadlines to clean up the property, but Lorenz has failed to do so and has been threatened with a contempt of court filing, according to Hale.
Lorenz admitted to hoarding for the past three years, allowing his yard to become overrun with items like shovels, bicycles, wheelbarrows and plastic containers.
