73-Year-Old Man Fights Off Alleged Robber By Honking Car Horn

A man fought off an alleged robber by honking his car horn multiple times.

According to court documents, a 73-year-old man was approached by a man, later identified as Michael A. Reime, when he was leaving a restaurant along Harrisburg Pike on April 28.

As the man was getting into his vehicle, Reime allegedly grabbed him, demanded money and threatened him with a gun.

The alleged victim honked his car horn multiple times while yelling for help, and the suspect fled.

Reime was taken into custody a short distance away.

Police said they did not find a weapon on Reime, who is charged with aggravated robbery.
