The Ohio Auditor of State released his audit of Marion County finances, and ordered five employees to pay back thousands.

According to the auditor, the five employees were paid too much for sick leave when they retired.

In one case, an employee was supposed to get $866 but instead received more than $2,500.

In another case, a worker received $1,000 more than she should have.

Two of the employees have repaid the money, and the others could be legally forced to do the same.

The Marion County Auditor’s Office told Watchdog 10 that auditors would look at each individual payout from now on.
