Morrow County Sheriff's deputies are investigating after a four-year-old died.

Investigators say that a driver of a vehicle said that a boy, who family members have identified as Marquell Jacek Daron Reynolds, fell out of the moving car.

Authorities were alerted when the driver pulled over their car and flagged down a Mt. Gilead police officer around 8 p.m. on Saturday.

An officer was told that Reynolds, who was in the vehicle, had fallen out of the car earlier on Township Road 214.

The car was apparently moving around 15-20 miles per hour, according to police radio logs.

According to Reynolds' family members, he was in foster care at the time.

The child was taken to Morrow County Hospital and flown to Nationwide Children's Hospital, where he died.

The Franklin County Coroner's office is performing an autopsy on the child.

Police and Franklin County Children Services are investigating. Two of Reynolds' siblings were removed from the foster home.
