3 Teens Shot After Fight In North Columbus


Three teens were hospitalized after a shooting Saturday night.

According to police, the shooting occurred at about 11 p.m. in the 2300 block of Cleveland Avenue.

Police said two of the teens were taken to Grant Medical Center, and one was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital. The three suffered from non-life threatening injuries.

The teens who were shot were ages 14, 16 and 17.

Police told 10TV News that they believed the shooting was a result of a large fight of about 50 to 60 people.

According to a release issued Sunday afternoon, the three teens were at a party when an unknown person opened fire, striking the three.

Police said they did not have anyone in custody in connection with the shooting.

The names of those involved were not immediately released.
