3 People Critically Injured After Being Hit By A Car

Three people were critically injured after being hit by a vehicle in Pickerington early Sunday morning.

Police said it happened at the intersection of State Route 256 and Stonecreek Drive around 2:30 a.m.

According to officers, the victims were crossing the street when a car hit them.

The three people were walking from a bar in the area.

Authorities said the three individuals were Eric Mobech, 43; Misty Wilson, 37; and Susan Wallace, 47.

The driver remained on the scene and told authorities that the pedestrians had "come out of nowhere."

The pedestrians were originally listed in critical condition. They had been upgraded to serious condition by 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The driver did not appear to be under the influence of alcohol, according to investigators.
