3 Injuries Reported When Car Strikes School Bus


Three people were transported to hospitals after a crash involving a vehicle and a school bus on the east side of Columbus.

The crash occurred after 4 p.m. at East Livingston Avenue and Alum Creek Drive.

Emergency crews said the intersection was blocked, as well as nearby ramps to I-70. Livingston Avenue was reopen around 5:30 p.m. but Alum Creek remained shut down.

The school bus was empty at the time of the crash, and the driver was not hurt. The injuries were all in the other vehicle.

One of the injured was taken to Grant Medical Center and listed in critical condition. Another person was transported to Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center and was listed as stable.

Another person was also taken to Grant Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
