3 Indicted In Knox County For Alleged Sex Crimes Involving Children

Three men have been indicted in Knox County for allegedly taking photographs of their genitals and giving them to underage children.

Leo Jones, 42, of Mount Vernon, Anthony Ferrito, 44, of Chagrin Falls, and Stephen Randrup, 34, of Mount Vernon, were indicted on Tuesday.

Jones allegedly sent text messages to a 12-year-old boy asking the boy to engage in sex acts with him.

Jones also allegedly photographed his genitals and sent them to the boy.

Ferrito allegedly traveled from Chagrin Falls to Mount Vernon on June 4 to have sex with a 15-year-old girl.

Ferrito also allegedly sent a photo of his genitals to the girl.

Randrup allegedly took photographs of his genitals and gave the photos to a 14-year-old girl on Nov. 7.

Jones has a prior conviction for a felony sex offense, so his importuning charge could carry a minimum of two years in prison and maximum of eight.

Randrup was convicted of misdemeanor public indecency charges last week.

Jones and Ferrito are being held in the Knox County Jail.

Bond hearings will be held later in the week.
