Three men were charged with murder in connection with a man found dead in a fire that was intentionally set Monday morning.

John C. Brewster, 21, Jamell C. Preston, 19, and Marsean T. Sowards, 18, were all arrested and charged with murder on Monday.

Fifty-six-year-old Rick Rundblad was found dead in a home in the 1500 block of Hempwood Drive in north Columbus early Monday.

His home was set on fire, authorities said.

"I just got up, and I was looking - I saw a lot of smoke coming from his house, but it was coming from the area of the chimney. So I thought he had something in the fireplace, but then now I see fire," said a caller to 911.

Officials confirmed to 10TV News that Rundblad was shot to death.

He was found on the stairs inside the home.

Firefighters said the flames were contained to an upstairs bedroom.
