3 Buckeyes Capture Big Ten Honors Following Win Over Northwestern


Three Ohio State Buckeyes were honored by the Big Ten on Monday following their win at Northwestern Saturday night.

Carlos Hyde was named Co-Offensive Player of the Week. Hyde had a career high 168 rushing yards and scored three second half touchdowns.

Bradley Roby was named Special Teams Player of the Week. Roby blocked a punt in the end zone and recovered the ball for a touchdown.

Big Ten Freshman Player of the Week was Joey Bosa.

The Buckeye defensive end finished with five tackles, including his first two career sacks. He also recovered the ball when Northwestern fumbled on the final play.

The Buckeyes beat Northwestern 40-30 to move to remain undefeated this year.
