Three men were taken into custody in Fairfield County on Tuesday after a shooting from a road rage incident.
The Fairfield County Sheriff's Office was contacted just before 4:30 p.m. by a person on Hamburg Road.
The caller said that she honked her horn at a truck that had cut her off. At that point, the caller said the people in the other truck fired a weapon at her.
Deputies got a description of the truck and made a traffic stop on Cincinnati-Zanesville Road, east of Trace Drive.
Four individuals were found in the truck along with a hidden .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun, according to deputies.
During questioning, deputies said one man admitted to the shooting. Two other individuals denied knowledge of the shooting, although they were in the vehicle at the time.
Bryan A. Torres, 18, of Dallas, was charged with felonious assault, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, and tampering with evidence.
Leonel Aspetsia, 33, and Juan Aguinara, 26, both of Dallas, were charged with obstructing justice.
A fourth person was not charged.
The sheriff's office said that the men were performing subcontract labor in the area and were in the United States illegally. The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has placed immigration detainers on the men.
