2 People Allegedly Fight With Officers, Now Face Drug Charges

Authorities in Marion arrested two people following a struggle at a traffic stop Friday morning near N. State Street and Hughes.

Members of the MARMET/METRICH Drug Task Force stopped the vehicle around 11:35 a.m.

Officials said the male passenger became combative, and the female passengers also interfered with police.

Investigators said that they uncovered almost 50 grams of heroin, almost 15 grams of crack cocaine and $660 in cash.

Clifton Ross, 38, of Marion, was charged with two counts of aggravated drug trafficking and resisting arrest.

Jasmine Campbell, 23, of Columbus, was charged with aggravated trafficking, tampering with evidence, and obstructing official business.
