A man accused of raping a student at a bus stop appeared in court Friday.

Antonio Fillmore, 36, is accused of raping a 13-year-old Columbus student.

According to the girl, a man approached her on Tuesday morning near her bus stop. He asked for directions and asked if she had a cell phone.

The girl says she was then grabbed from behind and pulled between abandoned homes on Myrtle Avenue where the suspect raped her.

After the suspect fled the scene, the 13-year-old went to a nearby school for help.

Fillmore was arrested Thursday evening at his home on Gerbert Road and charged with two counts of rape for the bus stop attack.

Court documents show that DNA evidence linked Fillmore to the crime.

On Friday, a judge set Fillmore's bond at $2 million.
