2 Face Charges After Woman Dragged By Car In Kroger Parking Lot

Police are charging two women in connection with an attempted purse theft.

Amanda Hall and Hamdi Dahir were scheduled to be arraigned on Monday.

Hall and Dahir are accused of trying to steal Tammy Brothers' purse in the Kroger parking lot on Georgesville Square in Southwest Columbus.

According to police, Hall took Brothers' purse and threw it through a window of a car.

When Brothers' tried to get the purse back, she was dragged by the suspects.

Brothers' was dragged several feet until the vehicle turned sharply and she was thrown to the ground.

She suffered an abrasion to her knee and face, according to the police report.

The suspects got away with her license, camera and other personal items.

According to authorities, the victim's financial card was then used by the suspects.
