2 Columbus Police Officers Injured After Cruisers Collide

Two Columbus Police officers were injured after crashing in north Columbus Tuesday night.

According to 10TV News crews on the scene, two officers' cruisers collided near 25th Avenue and Ontario Street at about 8 p.m.

Police said that one of the cruisers was traveling north on Ontario Street and the other was traveling west on 25th Avenue, when the two T-boned.

The officers, whose identities were not immediately released, were taken to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. One was in critical condition and one was recovering.

Police said that officers were responding to a report of an armed robbery at the time of the crash. An alleged victim said that someone in a vehicle fired shots at him.
