15 Veterans To Be Inducted Into Ohio Hall Of Fame
Fifteen Ohioans will be inducted into the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame at a ceremony in southwest Ohio.
The Ohio public is invited to attend Thursday's induction at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in Dayton.
More than 400 Ohioans have been inducted into the Hall since former Gov. George Voinovich established it in 1992. Inductees are honored for using their skills to work in local communities and inspiring others after leaving the Air Force.
The charter members of the first class of 1993 included the six Ohio military veterans who served as U.S. presidents and all Medal of Honor recipients from Ohio.
The hall of fame's executive committee chooses no more than 20 inductees annually from nominations made by Ohioans throughout the state.
