1 Person Killed In Shooting Outside After-Hours Club

One person was killed in a shooting Sunday morning in northeast Columbus.

Police said the shooting was reported around 5:30 a.m. in the 900 block of East Hudson Street.

It appears the shooting took place in the parking lot of the Happy Place after-hours club.

Police pronounced 32-year-old Tommy L. Butler, Jr. dead at the scene.

One person was taken into custody.

No one has been charged.
