1 Person Killed In Crash In Delaware County

One person was killed in a crash on County Road 10 near Parklawn Drive in Orange Township around 6:10 a.m. on Saturday.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Deborah Freeman, 53, of Delaware, died in the crash.

According to investigators, Freeman was attempting to pass another vehicle when she lost control of her Chrysler Concorde.

Her car went left of center and struck a SUV driven by Jeremy Rine.

Freeman was not wearing a safety belt. Rine and his passenger were not injured.

Alcohol is not considered a factor in the crash.
