1 Person Hospitalized In East Side Shooting


Police said one man was injured in a shooting on the east side of Columbus on Tuesday.

The shooting occurred around 4:15 p.m.

The victim was identified as 50-year-old Donald Justice.

Police say a suspect approached his truck that was parked in front of the Courtright Market on Courtright Road, and demanded money.

Justice reversed his truck to get away from the suspect, but the suspect shot him in the stomach.

Justice and a woman in the vehicle drove to East Livingston Avenue and Courtright Road and called 911.

Justice was taken to Grant Medical Center in serious condition.

No arrests have been made.
